“vuole essere il brano di evasione che ci fa tornare liberi di andare in un mondo che ci permette di tornare ad essere noi stessi, senza pregiudizi verso gli altri e sovrastrutture di alcun genere. Da qui nasce la voglia di fare un allegro ma riflessivo viaggio nel tempo per tornare in un’epoca di libertà e opportunità, in quanto si poteva scegliere dove andare, con chi stare, senza doverci guardare le spalle, con sistemi di protezioni e restrizioni che non si sapeva neanche lontanamente cosa fossero. Oggi, il desiderio di evasione si fa sempre più forte in quegli uccelli che non sono fatti per la gabbia, dandogli attraverso il gesto dell’ombrello la possibilità di mandare a quel paese chi voglia impedire di esaudire i nostri desideri. Ma noi ce la faremo… mano a mano, senza andare contromano.”

“Andiamo tutti a Vancouver” (“Let’s all go to Vancouver”) is the second single by Alessandro Spina on Kutmusic; in the artist’s intentions:
“it wants to be the escapist song that makes us free to go back to a world in which we can be ourselves, without prejudice towards others and superstructures of any kind. Hence the desire to make a cheerful but thoughtful journey through time to return to an era of freedom and opportunity, as you could choose where to go, who to be with, without having to watch your back, with protection systems and restrictions that nobody even remotely knew before. Today, the desire to escape is getting stronger in those birds that are not made for the cage, giving them the opportunity to rise a middle finger (or an – “umbrella gesture”, the Italian way!) to those who want to prevent us from fulfilling our wishes. But we’re gonna make it, gradually, without going the wrong way…”
